I began this edition of Macaroni Kid just five months ago, and have seen this free weekly newsletter and website grow tremendously since then. Subscribers and social media followers have more than quadrupled, I've attended a slew of events to promote the brand, and we held our first free community event with a few hundred people and more than 20 local businesses in attendance. I'll be taking on more advertisers in 2019, and it's a great time to consider teaming up. Not only does Macaroni Kid directly reach parents in our area--it also includes a wide range of promotional opportunities to fit any budget. Because this edition of Macaroni Kid is new, the prices are quite reasonable. From banner ads, giveaways, and social media post sponsorship to event promotion and expanded directory listings, Macaroni Kid offers a marketing opportunity for all budget sizes. If you want to sign up for a multi-faceted package or simply purchase an a la carte service, I offer a wide range of advertising options. This year, I will be adding "guides" to the site, which are industry-specific directories so readers can directly contact your business. I'm also planning more events so local businesses have the chance to connect with customers.
Posting Events on Macaroni Kid--What's Changing in 2019
Since I started this edition, I've been giving businesses a lot of free advertising as far as posting events, but I'll start to charge a nominal fee to post most events in 2019. Businesses and organizations are invited to submit one-time free and low-cost events for possible inclusion on the site. Non-profit organizations can submit low-cost and free events as well. If your business has regular classes/events to feature on the website/newsletter, that is an advertising service and I'm happy to share affordable rates to promote events such as regular classes. I will no longer list events that cost more than $25 for free--instead, I will charge a nominal fee.
