Whether it's a "first word" or a "first attempt at putting together an outfit", parents cherish ALL of the "firsts" in their kids' lives. Big or small, these events all typical evoke an excited scream or an immediate photo for an instagram story! If you took note of the cover image for this article, you would know that I fall into the "immediate photo" category as I could not put my phone away as my son walked through the pumpkin patch for the first time today at Eastmont Orchard!
From the moment that we crossed through the gate, my son couldnt stop running from pumpkin to pumpkin. He tried desperately to pick each one of them up, disregarding that their size was much larger than his own frame! He did finally stumble (and I mean that literally) upon a cute white pumpkin that he proudly lifted himself into our wagon. The smile that he had on his face at that moment was one that was not only worth the $45 that we ended up spending on pumpkins but one that would also remain a forever "first" memory in my mind!
