Now what?!  It's 7:14 am on Friday, December 25th and you are surrounded by a growing mountain of paper.  Even though it is a BEAUTIFUL mountain topped with an ornate bow, it is still a giant mass taking up space in your already cramped living room.  Knowing that your kids will not be helping with this garbage nightmare, you are probably weighing all of your disposal options as you read this article.

If that is the case and you are reading this article as your family kicks off the holiday, Merry Christmas and Happy New {use} year!  Here are 6 different ways to use your leftover Christmas paper in a NEW way:

Shred It Into Confetti!

With New Years Eve just a few days away, why not take your extra scraps and turn them into confetti.  All you need to do it thinly cut up pieces of wrapping paper!

Use It In Your Packages!

Need to send a "breakable" post Christmas gift?  Crumple up your discarded paper to line the box that you will be shipping your package in!

Make Decorations!

Confetti isn't the only thing that you will want at your New Year's bash. Why not use your extra wrapping paper to make bunting or decorative streamers!

Showcase A Memory!

While it may be a bit dated to print pictures, you can use your extra scraps to make a matte for a photo that you took during the holiday season!

Up Your Home School Game!

Tired of looking at your kids beat up text books?  Try covering them in the left over wrapping paper that you have to keep the "{school} season bright!"

Create A Tablescape!

Don't worry if you can't get to it this year, but your Christmas dinner table next year can look festive with this year's wrapping paper.  To make placemats all you need to do is laminate a 13" x 19" scrap of wrapping paper!
