Dear Friends
This letter is not easy to write, nor is it something that I saw myself doing nine months ago. This letter is something that is breaking my heart with each keystroke and something that I second guess with each sentence completed. This letter is my way of sharing with all of you that I have decided to vacate my role as your Macaroni Kid publisher.
When I took on this role last March, I was thrilled to be able to interact with my community, as well as meet new families in the Monmouth Beach to Bay Head area. I was also incredibly excited to find and share fun activities that were enjoyable to kids and adults alike! Both the Back To School Sidewalk Photoshoot and the Halloween Coloring Contest gave me such wonderful opportunities to meet so many of you and to make your families smile!
While those events were some of my most memorable moments, I have also loved "coming into your homes" via the weekly newsletter and daily social media posts. Over the past nine months, I have found such enjoyment creating content for you that I have felt made your activity planning easier and your "parenting life" a bit simpler. It is my hope that you have felt the same and that you will take some of my tidbits with you as you continue through 2021 and beyond.
Since I will no longer be releasing content, there may be a lapse in newsletters and social media posts until another publisher fills this role. Until then, I urge you to look at our neighboring Macaroni Kid sites for family fun that is just a bit more of a drive away!
As I end this letter, I want to reference the quote in the image above. My departure is not a goodbye, but rather an "I'll miss you" until we meet again. I hope that we will be able to remain in contact via my pre and postnatal fitness website where I can help guide ALL mamas on their wellness journey!
